Voice-Data-Video Apprentices will learn to be proficient in the installation of various Cabling Systems from Cat 5 to Fiber, Security Cabling, Speaker System Cabling. Be able to install Voice Systems and balance loads for speakers. Be able to install security and alarm systems, and terminate computer cabling systems. Have an understanding in installation of nurse call systems. Able to troubleshoot and repair any of these previously mentioned systems.

Apprentices go to school two nights a week at our training center and work for our signatory contractors during the day. This curriculum is College accredited and apprentices receive College credits through a relationship with Palomar Junior Collegein San Marcos, CA. our Classes are held in San Bernardino and Riverside depending on the year apprentices are in. All classes are taught by Installers that are working in the field for our signatory contractors so they have both the Field and class time experience to relate to the industry.

Voice Data Video is an ever changing industry so education is a key to our members once an apprentice graduates the following ongoing education is available. The National Training Institute offers classes year round to match our Contractors needs as the NTI (National Training Institute) training program in August every year is generally the busiest time of year for our Voice Data Video Contractors.
