Residential Apprentice Wireman
Residential Apprenticeship is a three (3) year program apprentice's work for our Signatory Contractors during the day and go to School two (2) nights a week for training. All Classes are College Credited for those who wish to go on and get their Associates Degree. Our training center is affiliated with Palomar Junior College in San Marcos, CA. all our training follows the College policies for attendance and participation.
Apprentices are required to work with a Journeyman Residential Wireman for on the job training. This does not mean that the Journeyman will be right at your side at all times. The Journeyman's responsibility is to show the apprentice how to install electrical systems according to the National Electrical Code. It is up to the apprentice to learn these practices and to ask questions when not sure about installations.
The Apprenticeship is a combination on the job training with classroom time to enhance the skills of our apprentices so when they graduate they will have the necessary skills to perform as an Inside Journeyman Wireman should.
